Hi Folks
I trust every one had a great Christmas and a fabulous new year. I would like to wish each and every one of you a really prosperous new year.
Now that we have that out the way, lets get down to the serious stuff, ROWING!
The juniors have kicked off the season with a rowing camp at Wemmer, they are staying in the club house until Sunday.
Our junior coach, Mpumi, put them through there paces yesterday, with ergo trials and running around the pan, as if they were training for the comrades.
As I am sure you are all aware January brings with it the eventful regatta of VLC, and this year, the Prestige’s RVR regatta.
Because of the world cup these events have been moved forward, so VLC is on the 23 and 24 Jan, with RVR the following weekend (30/31)
Entries for RVR close on Monday the 18 of January, so I need to start getting crews together for this event.
PLEASE!! let me know if you would like to participate in this event.

At the AGM Graham proposed setting up an eight fund.
I am pleased to tell you this fund is up and running, there is approximately R80000.00 in the fund.
Should you wish to make a donation, please get hold of Graham to get the bank details.
